Default Re: Odometer roll back

Looks can be deceiving when buying a used car, some of the bad ones are tarted up to look good so it can be hard for joe average to tell what has been thrashed to within a inch of its life and what is genuine.

My son has a 09 BMW 328i with over 350,000 on the clock, the car looks and drives mint, even the paint is unmarked, you would swear it was a sub 100,000k car the way it drives, previous owner looked after it like crazy, on the other hand my 2010 4x4 Fuso Canter has 55,000ks on it, fortunately mechanically its great, but at the moment it looks like its been driven to the moon and it got bogged there (ex mine vehicle) looks more like a 550,000k truck with the red mud dyed interior, the chassis is so bad I am 1/4 the way into doing a chassis swap.
