ASEAN Summit is on in Melbourne, we've got world leaders from Asian countries in town and Victoria Police have been given significant powers in a bid for counter terrorism efforts inside a special zone.

Basically no ****ing around in Melbourne the next few days, there'll be heightened monitoring over protests and that sort of thing, as well as police not needing warrants to seize property, search cars, et al inside the inner suburbs.

Was older Vietnamese people in the city yesterday protesting with South Vietnam flags - thats a bit of a blast from the past
