Know the frustration ! I am not a CB customer either.
A few years ago, we wanted to put $1K into our grandsons account for his 21st.
Took a cheque (remember them) to the local CB to deposit it. Walked in and I had never seen a 'bank' like it before. Looked more like a coffee lounge than a bank.
A concierge with a tablet wanted to know what I wanted, and was told to take a seat and someone would assist.

A young bloke eventually came over and said that I had to use the ATM deposit. I said that I didn't know how, so he said he would instruct me on how to use it. My reply was that I didn't want instructions as I would not be using it in the future, it was a once only transaction. Deaf ears.
He then began to instruct me in punching numbers and menus ( I had to do it ) on the screen. This took me about 5 minutes to interpret his rather vague instructions. Might be OK if you know what you are doing.

As the branch was not busy at the time, it took about 15 minutes to make the deposit. Back in the ole days of bank tellers, it may have taken 3 minutes at most.
Technology is great, saves time, easy to use, the way of the future.
