Default Re: Covid 19 -

Data valid as at 00:00 GMT week ending July 14th 2023.

7,456 new cases for Australia and 119 deaths so the CMR is 0.188% (é).
NZ reported 5,398 cases and 34 deaths for a CMR of 0.188% (é).
21,548 new cases in the USA this week and 129 deaths for a CMR of 1.088% (-).

Global case numbers are up to 200,237 this week compared to the 190,250 last week and the number of deaths decreased from an unamended 2,268 last week to 780 this week. It should be noted that the amended case numbers for last week are up to 251,836 due to the extended reporting periods.

Australia / New Zealand
NSW Predictive Trend

VIC Predictive Trend

Other Predictive Trend

NSW had 3,411 more cases than Victoria last week;
Victoria recorded 280 less cases than the previous week;
NSW recorded 1,380 less;
Queensland had 378 less;
WA recorded 231 less;
SA recorded 191 less; and
New Zealand recorded 1,182 less.

The week totalled 7,456 cases, a 25.9% decrease on last week but we are clearly under-reporting cases because the CMR the last few weeks has been well above the long-term and above 1%.
