Love the weber carb. I usually used IDA and IDF on rotaries but on a spare mazda 808 with a 1600 piston engine I played around with fitting a 32/36 dgv.
Webers are simple to set up (I shudder at holleys and other similar 4 barrels used on V8s or SUs and the like -can't know everything, pick one). The simple brass idle, air, fuel jets and emulsion tubes of webers and their circuits I learnt quick enough.
I did muck around a bit on the 4 barrels rotaries used (hitachi and nikki), but too hard to mod - get a weber instead.

As usual I found it linked from a rotary site - old rotors remain popular so mostly their sites stay up, but carbs and old 4cyl websites are a dying breed, so if looking for weber info search for mazda rotary websites (E: of course they'e not going to have much on dvg or dcoe as they're mainly IDA, but often can point you to general parts and info weber sources
