Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

I struggle to reconcile the disparities between countries and jurisdictions.

Today, BAU in Woolies; a good number of staff not wearing masks. Most customers not masked either. The hysteria of snarky snipes, pantomimes of conspicuously jumping away when one person thinks another too close, the sanitising door-greeter - all fading to nowt.

Last night I watched a five minute holiday video by Artur Tussik. He went to coastal resorts on the Baltic; one in Lithuania, the other Latvia. Again, pretty much BAU by the look of it, possibly less crowds but it was late summer. Negligible masks, the only signs of possible distance-keeping were more spaces between the hired sunbathing facilities on the beaches.
