Lets say that each corona case is car accidents instead.
Today there was 275 extra car accidents, 20% of them had to be hospitalised, 10% required critical care, oh and another 3 died.
And tomorrow will probably be the same or worse.
Does that put it into perspective?

Unfortunately, no amount of statistics will convince some people. I fear the only way that some folk will get a grasp of what is really going on is if they, or one of their direct family members, get sick or even die from this pandemic.
