Personally, I can understand the frustration.
If I wasn't all for using the Forums as a Community Chat room & a means of participating in Club discussion I wouldn't bother with it.
I agree, our Members should be using the Forums to Chat about upcoming events & yes, so we don't look Boring.
To Clarify, It has become obvious that our members aren't using the Forums, so It is not the effective way to indicate the participation on events. Although that was the Intention.
It's the same with the face book. It's intention was for the Events to be put on there & for the Members to click if they where going to attend, But Alas.
A lot of work goes into organising events & it's very disappointing to see that Members are getting cheesed off & frustrated with it.
Unfortunately, it's a trial & error process, there's going to be hits & Misses so it would be nice if everyone understood that.
