Yup.... once these cars hit a few years old they will just be simply not worth fixing. $6000 to replace a clutch! Not including r&r costs or investigative work...
Whoever said that they are going to investigate extended warranty, make sure its a Ford backed product not a BS dealer one.... your first repair out of warranty will make the circa $2k warranty cost seem like loose change.
