I am planning to come to Melbourne for an Edit Tune early in the new year, so I guess I schedule a trip to your place to get the audio working by the experts.
What I need to know is what else needs to be removed from the car, so far I know I need to remover the : DVD palyer and sat ariel and remote, is there anything else I need to remove ?
I do not want to remove 80% only to find out I cannot get it working.
Also if I put all the gear into the BF, will it work less the audio ?
I do not want to play with the ICC so I will leave that up to you.
I will also get a Parrot Carkit at the same time.
Thanks
Hi again
Although we are familiar with the satnav we are only really familiar with the ones we have installed and not the factory installs. From our experience as BA audio technicians we know that these systems use a speed wire(behind dash) and tap into the factory head unit for audio. Other than this we do not want to supply you incorrect information that you will be able to remove the satnav and reinstall correctly in your new BF. Wiring may be integrated with the factory loom and Batt, Ign, Reverse, speed sensor, audio and GND wires would need to be identified. If you believe you can attempt this and you can rewire correctly the only problem I see is the audio which we can fix at our end as long as you have identified the wires.

cheers
