Comments: This is my sister's car just bought second hand a few weeks ago from Yarra Ranges Ford.
The glove box light would not turn off when the glove box lid was closed. Ford tried adjusting the glove box light switch but no go. They replaced the switch under warranty. Light now stays off.
Squeaking noise coming from engine bay when going over bumps or when changing gears when stationary. Ford removed, lubricated and refitted the left hand side engine mount. Noise now gone.
Hatch tail gate would rattle when going over bumps. Ford adjusted the tail gate striker and catch. Rattle now gone.
The first issue was fixed under warranty. The second and third issues cost about $100 to fix.
Just want to say that apart from these niggly little issues which have all been fixed the car has been great. So great that mum bought a new 2008 LT LX auto hatch a couple of weeks ago from Strapp Ford Doncaster.
