Same here we had one in the N/A and although it didn't crap itself it was difficult to drive, very on/off and that was just the organic plate! I can only imagine how difficult the ceramic one would have been. We then got the twin plate Tex same as you, and like you found it brilliant to drive but the rattle of the intermediate flywheel to be very annoying.
